On January 16, 2024 (Tuesday) at. 10:00 a.m. in room 101 (D4) prof. Yihan Ling will present his paper „safe and efficient conversion and utilization of low- concentration coal mine methane based on high-temperature fuel cells”.

Prof. Yihan Ling is a full professor at the China University of Mining and Technology, China. He received his PhD at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and B.S. at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). After his graduation, he started to have his research stay at Tohoku University during 2013-2015 ( JSPS Fellow) and Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH (FZJ) during 2017-2019 ( Homboldt Fellow), respectively. His research interests are the safe and efficient conversion and utilization of low-concentration coal mine methane based on high-temperature fuel cells. To date, more than 100 high-quality papers have been published such as Adv. Funct. Mater., Matter, Appl.Catal. B: Environ., and all papers have been cited more than 3,000 times with an H factor of 29. Prof. Ling undertook more than 10 scientific research projects such as the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, authorized 8 Chinese invention patents, won the second prize of the Jiangsu Postgraduate Education Reform Achievement, and participated in 20 domestic and foreign conferences.
