IDEAS NCBR and the Witold Lipski Competition.

The Witold Lipski Award was established to commemorate the achievements of this outstanding scientist and to promote young Polish IT specialists.

The award is granted to outstanding youmg scientists for achievements in two categories: theoretical aspects of computer science and applications of computer science.

The prize in each of these categories is PLN 50 000.

The competition is open to people who:

  1. They have Polish citizenship  or permanent residence in Poland;
  2. They have not been awarded in any of the categories of previous editions of the Award;
  3. They are under 35 years of age;
  4. They are employees, PhD students or students in an institution of the Polish higher education and science system.

Deadlins for submitting applications: April 30, 2024.
